Well Here Goes
I'
Actually it's a lot bigger now, but still a blob. I'm using Jaggerspun Zephyr in the ruby colorway and I am loving it. I am also really enjoying the knitting. I'm surprised by that, but I'm not sure why.
Also, I'm also trying to finish up my Wing-o'-the-Moth. For it I'm using K1C2 Douceur Swirls.
(Sorry it's been discontinued.) The color is called Spumoni. I've had it for a while and when I saw Anne's pattern I new the yarn was perfect. The subtle color changes remind me of the wings of a moth. Also, I wanted to add that I've knitted quite a bit of lace, but unitl I started knitting this pattern I had avoided using a fine mohair yarn. My first attempt was with kidsilk haze and it was not pretty. I thought mohair and I were not a good match, but then I tried this mohair and I was amazed. The fiber content of this is the same as KSH, but for some reason I am having none of the difficulty. It may have something to do with fact that I recently learned to spin and knitting with the mohair reminds me of the fiber flowing through my fingers as I spin. (Another activity I'm in love with.) So eventually I need to give KSH another try.
