Happy New Year...
and help I don't know what to knit next!

To begin with, let's all make an effort to make this a great year. If we all come together and put our minds to it, we CAN DO IT!

I hope everyone had a great holiday. I know I did. Lots of good food and wonderful times with family and friends. Also, some really great gifts.

First of all, look at what the wonderful man I married built for me. It was a complete surprise, I emailed him the instructions from Knitpicks a while ago, and figured some time this coming year I'd ask him again, but he went ahead and made me one. He's been working on it in the garage, while he was working on building his storage building. All the pieces were in plain sight and I never even noticed. He's so good to me.

We finally put it together yesterday and I re-blocked my Charlotte's Web (I can not get this Koigu to hold a block for anything.) My technique still needs a little work, but I think this thing is going to come in real handy. No more crawling around on the floor with pins. Yeah!!!

Now if I could just decide what to knit, that would need blocking. See, I'm kinda at an impasse. I have so many lace shawls that I want to knit, I'm overwhelmed and I can't decide which to do first. That's why I need help. Maybe in my next post, I'll list all the possibilities and I'll see if that helps.

In the meantime, here's one of my "babies" and a picture of my husband's Log Cabin Socks from Handknit Holidays. I love these things. I just finished me a pair.
